Lions and Tigers and Bear…

The final national qualifier event was this past weekend, and after shooting well in tournaments the past two weekends with the changes I’d made, I was pretty excited for this trip. Also, R was able to come with me, and we decided to take an extra day to enjoy San Diego, since this would be his first trip to California.

I pushed for going to Sea World, as that was one of my favorite parts of growing up in Ohio (before they realized a cold weather climate Sea World was tough to keep profitable). However, R convinced me that we had to go to the zoo, since the one in San Diego is world known as being one of the best.

We had perfect weather (I know it’s always perfect in San Diego), we got their early to avoid the crowds, and it was a nice relaxing day without the stress of work or competition to worry about. Here are just a few of my favorite pictures from the day:
