I am a Greatist
For those of you who follow me on twitter, you have already heard the news. Those of you who don’t, shame on you, jk! Anyways, for those who don’t already know, I was selected to be a Greatist Ambassador.
If you have never heard of Greatist, then you may think I just don’t know how to spell properly…I am going to borrow a bit from a fellow Greatist Ambassador to share with all of you what Greatist is all about, and why I feel so honored to have been selected.
First the basics: “Greatist. noun. [gray-tist]
a person who makes healthier choices
Motto: Everyone has a choice to be more fit, healthy, and happy. And though our goals and ambitions are often similar, each person is unique, every story different. A greatist is someone who chooses better to improve their fitness, health, and happiness. Are you a greatist?
Info: Posts are short, fun, and relatable, they’re also as high-quality as it gets: every fact is cited (by a PubMed study), every sentence meticulously verified, and every article expert-approved.

So now that you know everything there is to know about Greatist, what is a Greatist Ambassador?
Greatist Ambassador. super noun. a person who makes healthier choices and inspires others to do the same. By becoming a Greatist Ambassador, you take on the awesome challenge of not only making better choices for yourself, but promising to empower, inform, and inspire others to become greatists, too. At the same time, we want to reward people who are already inspiring others to be healthier and happier! Together, we can impact and improve people’s lives, one small choice at a time.
So now that I have been selected, it is time for action. I’ve always said I want to encourage all of you to live the best life you can, as we are all in this together. There are many ways to live a “healthier” life, and I encourage you all to make a commitment with me to make one change by the end of the year. It doesn’t have to be something HUGE like quitting smoking(though it definitely can be), but I want you to focus on making that change now vs waiting until the new year. Also, if you are on twitter, make sure you use the hashtag #iamagreatist to share your successes with others and motivate them as well.
